Summer Fun Camp at St. Michael’s

• All campers must have a completed online medical form, digital immunization waiver, and, if needed, an Emergency Action Plan from their doctor for epi‑pens or inhalers.
• We maintain a strict no‑nut policy. Counselors are informed of allergies each week.
• Epi‑pens and inhalers should be labeled and handed to counselors at Monday drop‑off, then returned at Friday dismissal.
• Please ensure prescriptions are current before camp begins.

• Campers ages four and up enjoy daily swim sessions, weather permitting, supervised by certified lifeguards and counselors.
• Children ages four and five must wear labeled flotation devices, provided by families and stored in cubbies.
• Swim tests may be offered under lifeguard supervision, but safety always comes first.
• Campers ages three and up must be fully potty trained.

Check‑In:

• Parents and caregivers walk campers to designated outside check‑in areas each morning starting at 9:00 am for all campers.
• Each camper has a designated sign in location.
  • Summer Fun campers use the Rhode Island Avenue entrance.
• Theater Campers use the Gibbs Avenue lot.
• Families are not permitted inside the school building during camp hours.

Authorized Pick‑Up:

• Campers will only be released to individuals listed on registration forms. New pick‑up contacts must show a photo ID.
• Times:
  • 3‑Year‑Old Morning Adventures: Pick‑up at 1:00 PM at the early childhood playground gate.
  • 4 & 5‑Year‑Old Morning Adventures: Half‑day pick‑up at 1:00 PM at the early childhood building front door.
  • 4 & 5‑Year‑Old Childcare After Camp: Pick‑up at 1:00 PM (half‑day) or 4:00 PM (full‑day) at the playground gate. In case of rain, pick‑up is at the morning drop‑off location.
  • Sports Camp, Junior Adventures, Enrichment Camps: Pick‑up at 1:00 PM (half‑day) or 4:00 PM (full‑day) at the same location as drop‑off.

Late Pick‑Ups:

• A $15 fee will be charged for every 15 minutes past the designated time.

It is common for younger campers to feel nervous during the first week. Our counselors are trained to provide a nurturing environment to ease transitions, and we recommend keeping goodbyes short and reassuring. With encouragement, campers quickly settle in and thrive.

Families may register for additional camps or extended care no later than the Wednesday before the session begins to ensure proper staffing. We encourage families to explore multiple sessions so campers can experience the full variety of activities we offer Extended camp runs from 1pm to 4pm. This can be selected during your registration.

• Cancellations made 21+ days in advance: Full refund minus $50 fee per week, per camper.
• Cancellations made 14–20 days in advance: 50% refund.
• Cancellations made fewer than 14 days in advance: Non‑refundable.
• Missed days due to illness or other reasons cannot be made up.

Beginning June 1, families will incur a $25 administration fee for switching from a registered camp to a waitlisted camp.

Each camper has a labeled cubby. Please send:

• Nut‑free lunch and snacks
• Reusable silverware
• Swimsuit, towel, and wet bag
• Easy‑on/off shoes plus sneakers and socks
• Extra set of clothing
• Hats and sun shirts
• Flotation devices for ages four and five
• Water shoes (recommended for campers tall enough to stand in the pool)
• Sunscreen

Apply sunscreen before arriving at camp. Counselors will remind campers to reapply but cannot assist unless authorized by a parent/guardian. Campers should bring labeled sunscreen if they can reapply independently, along with sunglasses, hats, and rash guards.

Please label all belongings to help campers and counselors stay organized. This ensures lost items can be returned quickly. (examples: Water bottles/ Swim suits/ Shoes/ and Towels with a first name and last Initial.) You’d be surprised as to how many people have the same towel!

Our camps are open to families across the globe. You do not need to be a student here at St. Michael’s.

Families may sign up for one week or all seven weeks of camps.

Half Day Campers(9am-1pm) 3's and up $395 per week

Full Day Campers (9am-4pm) 4's and up $535 per week

Enrichments for rising 1 graders - rising 8 graders

Half Day: A half day of camp runs from 9 am – 1 pm (ages 3+) for $385.

Full Day: A full day runs from 9 am – 4 pm for $525.

We will offer camp to students as young as 3 years old (by June 1st). Please note that all 3 – 5 years old campers MUST BE FULLY POTTY TRAINED. In addition, all of our Junior Adventure and Sports Adventure camps are offered to campers entering 1st – 4th grade in the Fall We also offer a variety of Enrichment Camps typically starting for campers entering 1st Grade in the Fall. This year, we are also offering Chess camp for campers entering 1st – 8th grade. See the Enrichment Tab for these camps.

Morning adventures- 3 year old group, 4/5 year old group, Junior Adventures and Sports Adventures- entering 1st – 4th Grade in the Fall. Enrichment Camp groups vary from 1st – 8th grade.

For the 3 year old groups, there is limit of 10 campers with two counselors. For the older groups, typically there is a maximum of 15 campers with two counselors (government guidelines will dictate ratios for this summer which we will adhere to).

We strictly adhere to our policy in order to maintain ratios and meet regulations for each age group. Campers must be 3 years old by June 1st in order to attend the Morning Adventure Camp.
