A Community of Creators

Our students are encouraged to learn by doing and creating. St. Michael’s boasts an extensive arts curriculum which offers students constant opportunities to express themselves, problem-solve, invent, innovate, design, and create. 

Our drama, music, and visual arts programs, along with our Innovation Lab, promote students’ creativity, individuality, and imagination. In our Early Childhood program, students have Art, Music, and Creative Movement classes weekly. Students in K-4 have a total of eight specials a week, including Movement & Music, Drama, Art, and Innovation Lab.   

In addition to their weekly art and music classes, students in grades 5-8 participate in two additional arts elective classes each year, which meet twice a week. We offer students a variety of choices, such as Studio Art, Acting Workshop, Stagecraft, and Band.
