Hill Arts & Athletics Center Refresh – Coming Fall 2025
Affectionately known as the Hill House, the Hill Arts & Athletics Center serves as both the gymnasium and theater at SMS. A generous gift from Hope Hill van Beuren in 1995 in memory of her father, Nathaniel P. Hill, the Hill House is a vibrant hub for athletics, performing arts, and student life. It houses our stage, basketball court, locker rooms, stagecraft classroom, and more.
To ensure this beloved space continues to serve our community well, we’re undertaking a thoughtful refresh. Updates will include a brand-new floor, fresh paint throughout, sound-dampening panels, a new scoreboard, and new curtains for both the stage and gym divider.
We look forward to welcoming students back to an updated and revitalized Hill House in Fall 2025!
