Lead at St. Michael's
At St. Michael’s, students are provided with a variety of opportunities to learn, demonstrate, and practice leadership skills.
We teach that leadership takes many different forms and that everyone has the capacity to display leadership qualities. It is our hope that students operate with kindness and respect toward all individuals throughout their day.
Athletics
In addition to our Health & Wellness curriculum, students in grades five through eight are required to participate in at least one season of a team sport and interscholastic games.
Advisory
Students are placed in an advisory group when they enter 5th grade. The goal of the advisory program is to provide support for students in order to maximize academic and social/emotional growth and health. The advisor/advisee relationship is a cornerstone of the upper grade experience.
Buddy Program
One of the highlights of the St. Michael’s student experience is our buddy program, which aims to bring students together across grade levels. Students in Toddler through 2nd grade are "little buddies" and students in 3rd grade through 8th grade are “big buddies.”
Student Council
Students in grades 5 through 8 have the opportunity to volunteer for our student council. The roles and responsibilities of students involved in the student council are to act as representatives for student activities and initiatives in the school.
