Learn at St. Michael's
At St. Michael’s, students are provided with a variety of opportunities to learn, demonstrate, and practice leadership skills.
We teach that leadership takes many different forms and that everyone has the capacity to display leadership qualities. It is our hope that students operate with kindness and respect toward all individuals throughout their day.
Our School by Division
Early Childhood (Toddler - Prekindergarten)
The central tenets of our early childhood programming are family-school engagement, social-emotional learning, joy, and wonder.
We value and cultivate respect, responsiveness, relationship, reciprocity, and reflection with our families and students. We are committed to diversity and inclusion and foster an equitable environment for all.
Lower School (K-4)
Students in our Lower School are led through a core curriculum, which includes math, reading, writing, spelling, and thematic studies.
Additionally, students are provided opportunities to expand their interests and explore their being through classes in Spanish language, visual arts, music, drama, physical education, innovation lab, creative movement, and mindfulness.
Middle School (5-8)
“Teaching at St. Michael’s enables me to mold my curriculum to the learning needs of the students. We do not have to teach to a standard, but rather to an individual. We have the ability to change, supplement, and direct our teaching. We embrace the diversity of students and encourage them to celebrate their differences. Flexible seating and movement enable the students to interact in a way that could not happen in a traditional classroom.”

Secondary School Placement
The secondary school placement process is a key component of the experience of every St. Michael’s student. Our goal is to provide support and guidance to students and families so each student makes a smooth and successful transition to high school.
Spanish Schoolwide
Research shows that learning a language at an early age is the best way to become proficient. Thus, at St. Michael's, students begin taking Spanish as toddlers. We expose our two-year-olds to the Spanish language, and students continue this study all the way through eighth grade.
Health & Wellness
The goal of the Health and Wellness program in the upper grades is to educate our students on how to live their best, healthiest lives. Topics covered include self-care and appreciation, human development, healthy relationships, nutrition, and mindfulness.
Extended School Day
Beyond the School Day
At the end of each school day, from 3-5:30pm, there is an optional Extended School Day that is included in students’ tuition.
