A Community of Learners
St. Michael’s School prides itself on being a community of life-long learners.
From early childhood through 8th grade, we strive to create engaged, lively lessons through which students can discover that learning is an ongoing—and joyful—process. Our teachers, students, and families treat each other with kindness and respect.
Classrooms are student-centered and children are frequently consulted about what they are interested in reading, studying, and learning. They are encouraged to ask questions and voice their opinions and ideas. Our small class sizes ensure that all students have frequent opportunities to participate and that every student feels seen and heard.
Teachers and administrators work side by side to design and create curriculum for our students that is innovative and engaging. We are able to take students to higher levels of learning through project-based activities, opportunities to collaborate, and ample opportunities for students to incorporate their interests into their work.
In addition to the traditional academic subjects ...
we also provide students with multiple opportunities to imagine, design, and create through our extensive Arts Program.
